2.Pet play is a form of role-play in which one or more partners take on the persona of an animal — commonly a puppy, kitten, pony, or fox. The 'pet' may adopt behaviors, sounds, or accessories associated with their animal persona. A 'handler' or 'owner' may care for, train, or play with the pet. Pet play can be purely psychological or include gear such as collars, leashes, mitts, and tails. It may or may not have a sexual component and can function as a form of stress relief or identity expression.
